Conservation Tracking 10-03-18
We had a great workshop from Louise Wilson from K9 conservation tracking. After a very interesting power point covering the diverse situations. Louise has worked dogs in all kinds of situations from finding illegal immigrants, illegally killed Pangolins in Gabon to confirming a population of Pine Martens in Shropshire. It is absolutely fascinating. We had 8 dogs working one at a time. Every dog was successful in finding their scent and it was interesting to see Louise alter her approach to suit each individual dog. It was a whistle stop event, and Louise left all of us wanting more and we are fully intending to work together again.
